Does Food for Thought deliver?

Food for Thought is a full service, off-premise catering facility. Not only do we welcome
pick up orders, please refer to our prepared foods menu,
we also deliver directly to your door...with a smile!

Why a delivery charge?

A separate delivery charge allows us to keep our actual food prices reasonable.
Because Food for Thought services a vast area, we have found that a separate delivery charge
is the most equitable for both customers and Food for Thought. We will quote the delivery
charge in advance so that the customer can make an informed decision.
Most customers discover that even with the delivery charges added into the
food prices the total cost is similar or less that most other food service options.

Why do we charge for delivery and some of our competitors don't?

It has to be in there somewhere...We hear of other restaurants, caterers who do not
charge for delivery. There may not be a separate line item for delivery, but the cost
of delivery service has to be there somewhere-no business could survive otherwise.
Usually our competitors incorporate delivery costs in menu prices. It costs money to
provide a delivery service and these costs go up the further one goes from their facility.
Most competitors have limited delivery areas, minimum party size requirements and
inconsistent reliability. A separate charge for delivery allows Food for Thought to have
unlimited delivery areas, no minimums and exceptional reliability (we deliver everyday,
not as a sideline service).

What is included in your delivery and is tipping required?

Fast, friendly and professional service, and if that's not enough, great food!! Well worth the
price of delivery. While tipping is not required, it is appreciated. That decision is is left entirely
to the discretion of our customers.

What are your most popular dishes?

Wow, that's a tough one! All of our dishes are taste tested right here in our own kitchen. If it doesn't
meet the rigid specifications of our experienced staff, the recipe is "filed away".
Broccoli Delight, Chicken Stir Fry, Pierogie & Chicken Ranchero, Wrapper sandwiches, are just a
few that top the list of "favorites" that top our clients' requests.

Do you offer monthly specials?

Each month, dozens of recipes are carefully considered for our monthly features and only the
most alluring are selected. Our goal to tempt your palate and please your guests is one we take very
seriously, and should the opportunity present itself, we would be delighted to show you what we mean.

Is there a minimum order?

We recommend a minimum of 5 servings for most of our menu items. Some of our dishes,
such as our lasagnas and parmesans are sold by the pan and designed to serve 9 - 12 people.

What types of events do you cater?

Wedding receptions, corporate lunches, birthday parties, clambakes, or an intimate dinner for two.
Whatever the reason, whatever the season, Food for Thought will make your event, the event your

How much advance notice is needed to place an order?

Of course, if you are planning an event requiring the assistance of our experienced service staff,
more advance notice is required. Our events department, will be happy to assist you
with an event of that nature. For Breakfast and/or lunch orders, we recommend that orders be placed
24 hours prior to the event to assure all menu items are available and a delivery time is reserved.

How do I place an order?

Please call us @ 440-946-0383 or fax your order to 440-946-8801.
You can place an order after hours by simply calling the number listed above and leaving
COMPLETE information on our voice mail system. We start our day bright and early around here so
someone will be calling to confirm your order as early as 7:00 AM
