About Food for Thought

For more than 25 years Food for Thought has been providing creative cuisine and quality service for all types of events and occasions. Planning a formal wedding? A business luncheon? A backyard family gathering? Our Food for Thought staff is equipped to satisfy your most fastidious and discerning guests. And the really hungry ones, too. 

Founder, Bonnie Matthew, and her partner, Robert Hufgard, own more than 55 years of combined experience in both the food industry and retail sales. Having never advertised, it’s remarkable how Food for Thought has grown while maintaining strict culinary and ethical standards. The menu is diverse yet flexible, allowing us to offer customized service to all our clients.

Our skilled management team is ready to guide you through the challenges of designing and planning a memorable occasion. Countless menu selections include monthly features, like succulent Summer Marinated Grilled Chicken and popular Pumpkin Rolls, in addition to Food for Thought favorites like Chicken with Basil Cream Sauce, Broccoli Delight and Pierogi and Chicken Ranchero. Our fresh salads and mouth watering sandwiches, delivered on time, are just the ticket.

Our office personnel are available to assist you Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend hours vary. If you need to place a last minute order it can be left on our voice mail and it will be confirmed in the morning.
